All our kefir grains (fresh & dehydrated) are shipped in food grade zip sealed bags and then heat sealed to avoid possible leakage. We then carefully package them in a hard plastic case to protect them from any possible damage such as passing through mail handling equipment during shipping.

Organic Water Kefir Dehydrated Grains (2 tablespoons) – allows you to brew approximately 2 litres.
Our water kefir dehydrated grains are harvested from our live active batches and then dehydrated in small batches to provide optimum viability. Each of the batches have been fed on different types of organic sugars which gives the grains a variation of colours ranging from a light cream to a light coffee colour. Dried batches are then mixed. We have found this maintains the greatest variety of probiotic bacteria and beneficial yeasts possible as different strains do better on some sugars than others. Mixing the batches makes the grains more robust to deal with their new environment and allows them the opportunity to re-activate as fast as possible.
